Conclusions
The conclusion that I have come to after my primary research is that my hypothesis is wrong because the gender of a person actually did affect the Executive Function and Self Regulation skills of a middle school student. I analyzed the data collected from my survey by running a chi square test and finding that my data was significant. My question on my survey was "Which gender, boys or girls, have more trouble exercising control over themselves (out of most of the people you collaborate with)" and most students people answered boys. The Chi Square test confirmed that my information was statistically significant. Since, I found that the answer to my hypothesis is: Yes, Gender does affect the Executive Function and Self Regulation Skills.
Solutions
A possible solution to creating better Executive Function and Self Regulation skills is creating curriculum that will enforce Executive Function and Self Regulation Skills. There are actual curriculum at this time that are actually taught to students but I think that it should not be taught by teachers, but by parents while the students are young.
